Well… I’m back!
After several weeks away from the office recovering from surgery, I’m slowly finding my way back into my normal routine. And when I say slowly, I mean slowly.
My first day back included opening what felt like a month’s worth of mail, catching up on emails, returning phone calls and reminding myself where I left everything before surgery.
But goodness, it felt good to be back.
The last few months have given me a whole new perspective on life, family, business and the people we surround ourselves with. If you’ve followed along with my journey, you know this year brought something I never expected: breast cancer.
There have been doctor appointments, surgeries, recovery days, lots of prayers, a few tears and plenty of days where my biggest accomplishment was simply resting.
And now, little by little, I’m getting back to doing something I truly love: taking care of my clients.
Why This Business Means Even More to Me Now
I’ve always believed insurance is personal.
Yes, I write home insurance, auto insurance, business insurance and life insurance. But at the end of the day, I’m not really protecting things.
I’m helping protect people.
Your home is where your family gathers.
Your car gets you where you need to go.
Your business may be something you spent years building.
Your life insurance helps protect the people you love if life doesn’t go according to plan.
Going through my own unexpected season has reminded me just how quickly life can change.
None of us wake up expecting the hard stuff.
That’s exactly why having the right protection in place matters.
Local Still Matters
When I started The Stack Agency, I wanted to create the kind of insurance agency where people could actually know their agent.
I wanted you to be able to pick up the phone and call me.
Ask questions.
Tell me when something changes.
And most importantly, have someone who will actually take the time to explain your coverage instead of just sending you a policy and hoping you understand it.
I’m an independent insurance agent, which means I can work with multiple insurance companies to help find coverage that fits you. But I think the biggest difference is even simpler than that.
You have a person.
And around here, that person is me.
So… What’s Next?
I’m still giving myself some grace as I continue healing, but I’m back in the office and excited to get back to serving my clients and our Clarksville community.
